The purpose of ART’s List is to assist in placing animals in a better environment than the shelter can provide.
Please email rescue@garlandtx.gov to make an appointment for rescue pickup. For rescue pick-up requests outside hours of normal operations, please email AnimalServices@garlandtx.gov. Due to limited staff after normal hours of operations, we will attempt to accommodate after-hours pick up if possible. Rescue communication should still be conducted through email.
If you would like to become an approved rescue partner with the Garland Animal Shelter & Adoption Center please download and complete the rescue application and carefully review and sign the rescue guidelines. Once completed, please email them to rescue@garlandtx.gov. Your partnership and support will greatly contribute to the well-being of animals in need.
